Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are like small baseball caps (without the bills) that fit over the visible biting surface of teeth to provide them with extra strength and protection. We either use stainless steel crowns, for their low cost and durability, or ceramic crowns, for their more natural-looking appearance. We will be happy to go over the options with you. Pulp Treatment
Pulp treatment is primarily conducted on primary teeth to remove the infected portion of a tooth’s pulp, or a small clump of soft tissues and nerves in the inner chamber of a tooth. If your child is complaining of a toothache or sensitivity and is found to have an infected tooth, we’ll likely recommend this procedure to ease their discomfort and prevent the infection from spreading. Oftentimes, we support the treated tooth with a dental crown following the treatment.
