Dr. Jared Tinker is one of our passionate pediatric dentists at Shine Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry. With several years of experience under his belt, to this day, his favorite part of his job is helping improve the lives of his patients. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Tinker decided to become a dentist to gain the skills needed to heal others and provide children with a positive, educational dental experience. He’s grateful and proud to be working and providing services to the community where he was born and raised, and he loves watching his young patients overcome challenges they face.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Tinker completed both his undergraduate studies as well as dental school at Arizona State University. He has his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Certificate in Public Health, and completed an additional pediatric dental residency program that provided him with hands-on skills and knowledge specifically related to treating developing smiles. He also remains an active member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Whenever Dr. Tinker isn’t at the office, you can find him spending time with his wife and five children, mentoring youth, going on outdoor adventures, practicing carpentry, cooking, and serving his community. An interesting fact about Dr. Tinker is that he plays the saxophone!
